That makes sense. Having the everyday words come from the Germanic roots, because that was the language of the Anglo-Saxons. Then the language of the ruling class was French.

I’ve only played the very first Adventure Time game that was on DS, the one WayForward developed, and it was pretty decent but I’ve never heard much good about any of the subsequent games. I don’t know how we’ve gone this long without a genuinely good one...just remake something like Link to the Past with an Adventure

I don’t know. I’ve been a bit hesitant about Kojumbo after he left Sonly. I suspect his own hubris may have Duke Nukem Forevered production of Mental Deer Sordid V, and that’s why it was released in an incomplete rushed to finish state.

I am aware of those too. The whole system is flawed, and I have complained about all those factors at various times online. Most people will half-heartedly defend the status quo with a shrug.

So at this point, four people from Hunt For The Wilderpeople have been in Marvel movies. This delights. me.

I am unfamiliar with the IP laws of the UK but the likelyhood is that it is either still with the estate of the Jacques family or with the publisher of the books depending on what Jacques’s original contract was like.
