Agreed with your observation on the state of politics, politicians and world affairs at the moment. Would you like a pumpkin or blueberry?

Dear Tyra

whats with all the hair and cigar?

Americans should wake up and absolutely be concerned. I really wonder if any of these politicians have anyone but yes-men pointing out just how off the rails some of their comments are getting.

The Concorde was aimed at a commercial market, this is aimed as a private jet for billionaires.

There must be a board in the office where everyone tries to out do each other with Trump descriptions. Move that one to the top please!

Sorry, but the line is long for that list.

Get this news over to the GOP headquarters so they can include Southern China on their list of people to ban entering the country. Should the Syria refuge hype not take hold, they can resurrect this bacterial scare just before the 2016 elections.

The Loews Lincoln IMAX? Love that screen. Watched the opening midnight show for each of the Harry Potters on it. The crowds were just as much a part of the show. Though I imagine a press viewing would be a much more somber experience.

The point of my comment was that in fact it wasn’t about a cruise experience at all. I too initially found it funny until they revealed the details…and then thought it pretty idiotic. I enjoy a good off topic story, but this was first told as if the murder had occurred on the boat. Thats simply the extent of the

Carnival for bowing to your whining.

You stated a completely unrelated experience. Why not tell about the time you got food poisoning at a local restaurant and asked Amazon for a refund from a recent purchase. Sorry you witnessed something that horrible, but its idiotic to expect (or even ask) the cruise ship for anything.

They wouldn’t, but why the hell not ask?

Wait - you were in the city, not on the boat, when the person was killed? Why would Carnival be required to offer you anything?

Great… now the authorities can yell at people without even understanding what they are saying.

Alan Turing walks into a bar….

The regulations were imposed onto the cab companies. Did those companies eventually get sloppy and poorly run - absolutely yes. But until the regulations are cleaned up, the taxi’s are correct to point out its not a fair fight.

Actually, reality falls somewhere in the middle. Many of the regulations were put in place to simply keep out competition…those are hardly justifiable. The cities need to clean up the written regulations and simply keep the ones that protect the public….then apply them to all equally.

Business A is required by law to comply with regulations 1 thru 400. Business B claims to be different (even though it really isn't) and can therefore skip all regulations. Business A is therefore suing the city asking to either eliminate the regulations or make Business B comply. That is trying to adapt.

And that is the very issue. Examine what regulations are truly helpful to the public (and impose them onto the other new services) and dump the regulations that were simply put in place to control the numbers and others from getting in.
