Apple isn’t falling behind in anything. Other companies are simply staking out their own territories in what Apple has made mainstream. No, they didn’t invent tablets, but they made people finally want them and use them. Same with smart phones.

As much as I too would prefer a direct connection, the one avenue Apple has been pretty good at is moving people away from old media and into new. While that tends to tick off the computer crowd, the general mass of folk seem happy in the flow.

Yes, I too think the final 10 minutes was unnecessary…but given that the rest just twisted every other “hero” fantasy plot, the studios couldn't make everyone leave completely depressed.

Watched the movie last night and thought it was much better than the second and third movies. Did not read the books but the movie portrayed exactly what you stated quite well. It was a good ending to the series and loved the fact that it breaks away from the very generic portrayals of the good guys and bad guys in…
