I’d say it’s two pronged. America has no love for small cars, and America has more strict laws for compliance than anywhere else.

I agree but the market doesn’t. Nobody is paying near full console game price for a lesser hand-held version of the same thing. The vita does it better, but compared to free or cheap smart phone games, the market doesn’t support it
