I think the patchwork of mismatched cars adds a layer of gritty realism. I feel like the second movie, with its glamorous line up of top tier tuners (supra gtr RX7 s2000) is idealistic and not as good.

I disagree. They could’ve had more accessible memory cards and the smartphone era still would’ve killed the thing. It was a problem but it wasn’t the problem.

It sounds reasonable but can it actually help? How many speed related fatalities are due to this sort of speed? Surely it's incredibly rare. And surely once you're above 150km/hr it's all pretty moot
