Go kart handling is over-rated. The karts I’ve driven give me sore hands, sore arms, and are complete shit over bumps.

How much did this guy pay for a car that isn’t really that remarkable? How much did it cost him, really, to store it for 25 years? And how much joy did he really get from driving it those 6700 miles?

Good point. I don’t know.

Well I don’t know, I live in Australia where this sort of thing isn’t a problem.

Come on, what small luxury SUV looks better than the Macan?

This will make it easier for the police to find your body and the person who killed you. It doesn’t change your chances of getting killed all that much.

Not sure if sarcasm but I do agree

The big achievement here is that none of this gets annoying. The V60 doesn’t want to interfere with you driving, it only wants you to get to your destination in one piece.

I think you’d find that this sort of styling similarity was common for many years, until Holden finally started to deviate with the Commodores

My brother’s Focus has these on its auto transmission. It takes so long for your paddle-pull to have an effect that it’s just depressing.

This is a possibility. Hopefully the emphasis on efficiency lately will bring about some slightly smaller, less wasteful cars in this way.

Because coupe means 2 doors. This has 4 doors.

So right. Thanks for posting that Lexus pic, makes those pissy little non-pillars on the Suby look awful.

Asset implies it will hold value. This may go up one day, but the owner is trying to sell it for what is probably the very bottom of its depreciation cycle. He’s also probably lost $50k, and on a car he’s barely driven. Keeping this car with such low kms and selling it now is insanity.

This is neither “museum quality” nor “better than showroom”. It has a crack in the c-pillar.

Agreed. It seems ominous, having such a proud and majestic sign that’s in such poor condition. They’d be better off with no sign at all.

It’s interesting how some of the cars Americans never see are commonplace overseas. Lancer wagongs, Mazda 3/6 wagons, Astras etc...are everywhere in Australia.

I saw one at a dealership a few years ago. Here’s a photo of the only one I’ve ever seen on the road, a month or so ago.

Come to Australia. They’re as common as Toyota Camrys, no word of a lie.
