I’m with you. If I had to deal with cities and traffic, I’d consider a frugal little quirky convertible thing like the Figaro.

I find this to be fascinating. They tried so hard to graft on more modern design points - things that are quite obviously precursors to the upcoming 550.

To find third, you let the thing center itself and push it up. First requires you to deliberately hold it left, then push it up. Obviously you’ve never done it, but it’s so easy nearly every motorist in the world was doing it half a century ago.

What’s with the weird/horrible names that always get thought up for the American market? The Thing. The Great Little Car. The Gremlin. The Le Car.

Maybe you’re right, actually the Fiat 500 Cabrio has a similar setup. I think seeing it on a car that had a boot made me think it was special

Chery QQ. A Chinese copy of the Daewoo Matiz.

A mid engined car is the “most American”, a front engined car is “the most Italian”. That’s absurd.

I don’t think Americans can relate to this, but my friend has a Colt Ralliart. Nothing at all lower down, then all the boost comes on at once. Never driven it in the wet but there has to be a lot of wheelspin I imagine...

This is a joint effort. The turbo punch wouldn’t matter so much if the snap oversteer weren’t so prevalent, vice versa.

Definitely with you.

Loved that game. I reckon the PS2 version was better than PC. Played it for hours, pretending it was a free roamer lol

14 cylinders!? I guess no one ever has two 7-cylinder engines laying around to glue together, so we don’t see this very often. Down-sizing a 16-cyl is probably the only reasonable way to do it.

It makes sense for the whole world to use the SI unit. Except America.

We can get these in Australia, but they’re all quite expensive. For a car that’s old, slow and cramped...why wouldn’t you buy a Miata?

Are you aware that these only came in FWD Auto 3-cylinder?

Welcome to every country that isn’t America

Where was thi taken? It looks too much like my local supermarket.

What’s with the close-up of the V10? The V10 can’t possibly be there for this to happen, it doesn’t even make sense. And it’s not like the RS3 has a 10. Or even an 8.

Good point.

Great stories, but is it just me who gets a bit sick of the smugness?
