I don't modify. And I'm of the opinion the servicing of a new car can be as expensive as an old one (though a warranty helps that of course), so I think a used car can definitely be a great deal.

There's some regulation that causes American cars to require an actual orange indicator light on the front lights. The rest of the world doesn't require this because it's pointless. Makes American cars look silly.

You're wrong. Bahar's vision was grand but impossible for Lotus to realize. Yes, if they could've built all those cars and made them great they might have been okay. But they couldn't build them then like they can't build them now. Bahar wanted to make a splash, and he did. It was never a realistic vision all.

I think people want a gussied up S-class. But they also want the Mercedes badge. This ticks both boxes.

This. Exactly. Most people don't want the hardcore model and are content with a pretty fast car that's more normal than an RS. And for these people, a Fiesta isn't always enough. You said it well.

I disagree. I walk past one every day, a turbo in an awesome metallic bronze. The color helps a lot, but I think the car does a pretty good job at both being unique and looking good.

Meh. Black cars are overrated. That water thing sounds like a fancy pants way of saying it sprays water on the intercooler. Like an Evo 6 from 2001.
