How dare a TV review talk about the plot and the endings! Especially when the multiple endings and multiple storylines imply different themes that an adequate review would need to acknowledge. A better solution? Watch the show before you read a review. AV Club reviews have discussed plot developments since like ever.

He directed the pilot (and other episodes) of Hannibal (the TV show with the greatest visuals outside of maybe Twin Peaks: The Return) and helped define that series’ visual language. Sadly TV directors are underknown, just like screenwriters for movies.

I have written a truly clever comment to this, which Kinja is too shitty to contain.

So because the show has you detailing what happens, how does that account for character psychology? Can you create inconsistent character motivations and actions? From the review, this sounds like a shittier version of Life is Strange or a David Cage game (which is not a comparison someone ought to like) or any number

I don’t use it enough so ever time I try to post a photo, it ends up posting to my story instead.

An F! A glorious F! It’s a Christmas miracle! Thank you, St. Ignatiy! Thank you for the amount and depth of film and literary history to a pan of economics-driven filmic shovelware! I didn’t expect to learn about the provenance of Sherlock Holmes adaptations and original texts.

Which parts are Spacey? Which parts Underwood? They blended the two into an incoherent rat king.

AND it ends with the Dramatic Chipmunk sting? WTF

Kevin Spacey would have been a good Huckabee: same melten jowls, same immorality.

This movie gets better and better with all these extras. Still can’t believe it wasn’t on the top 25 when it’s one of the best superhero movies. Let’s hope the Oscars don’t have the same oversight here that they did with The Lego Movie.

And a great suggestion! They have some really good almost PSA songs. I enjoyed “Crabby Day” where they teach the listener how to treat their crabs as well as tell as touching “want to have sex” story.

Exactly! Even in 2018 and being an out gay man myself, hearing how candid and open and forthright and unabashed they are about their homosexuality was a jolt. It wasn’t just songs talking about their gay lives or general gay love songs; it was about concepts and groups within gay male homosexual spaces and experiences.

Susan Boyle was robbed that season (maybe? I’ve never seen the show)

Nah, I think it’s both standup and other cash flow. Like how George Clooney was on the top-paid list because of his tequila. That being said, Terry Fator (from a brief wikipedia search) is being paid $100 million for a 5-year contract with the Mirage in Las Vegas. And this is someone I’ve never heard of (which isn’t

Their humor has been a good part of my enjoyment. They’re jokes driven from their gay experiences and gay life in the early 90s, and not jokes at the expense of being gay. There’s no homophobia. Hell, they were pushing back against fem-shaming on their second song from their first album! “He’s a fem in a black leather

Now playing

So in preparation for my upcoming Year of Queer (where I’m watching/reading/listening primarily to LGBTQ-themed and -authored movies/books/music (after 29 years of consuming heteronormative media, I need a good paradigm shift)), I started listening to Pansy Division, an all-gay male pop-punk band from 1993. The basic

He still owns them! But they’re rather snug these days.

Not again, none shy. They put you on that list for a reason.

I don’t have beard wax (not long enough), but I do make and use my own beard oil. Cheaper than buying it and the best way to moisturize both the hair and the skin underneath.

Serial Season 3 should have been the one to go viral. Far more vital and important to look at the quotidian injustices within and as an intended part of the justice system, which is something I’ve never had to deal with before and had only seen fictional depictions of so everything here was eye-opening.

Wait, The Abominable Bride won in 2016? That shitty “time travel” memory palace nonsense that once you learned of the “twist” made all the drama of the Victorian Time perfunctory? Oh my god
