Is Alabama one of the 4 best teams? Yes. Do they belong in the playoff? No.

The NHL not allowing players to play in the Olympics stinks of “penny wise, pound foolish.” Sure theres a risk of a star getting hurt, and maybe the IOC should pick up a bit more of the insurance bill, but the Olympics is far and away their biggest platform to advertise the NHL product. People will be watching hockey…
This all pretty much stems from the remaining confusion on what “possession” of the football is. Theres a little daylight between the ball not being tightly in his hands or tightly into his chest, while also being pretty obvious to any person that he had total control over the ball. You can blame the replay procedure…
Came here for some Simon Le Bon and was not disappointed.
As an attorney practicing in a field where I never have jury trials, and rarely expert witness testimony, I could have told you off of the top of my head what Daubert and a motion in limine are just from studying for the bar 6 damn years ago. This chuckle-fuck thought he could go in front of the United States Senate…
Yes. Because if I’m taking Stafford or Wilson, I’m going to go with the guy who is like 8-50 vs winning teams in his career. Only 2 of their wins are vs teams with a winning record this year, one of which is the Rodgers-less Packers. He’s currently sitting in 3rd place looking up at Case Keenum. Jesus christ.
Damn. That was very satisfying.
“He may not play football again”
I haven’t watched a single second of Browns football so I can’t really comment on whether Deshone Kizer is butt or not. I also think it’s fair to say that Wentz or Watson wouldn’t look nearly as good if they were playing on a team as devoid of talent as the Browns are. Wentz plays on maybe the most balanced team in…
Damn. Ticket to Ride already jumped back up to normal price. That sucks.

I’m not going to endorse blind side shots that turn people into jello. Juju could have blocked on that play and gotten a nice shot on Burfict without absolutely leveling him. But I also don’t feel an ounce of sympathy for Burfict, who routinely goes for guys heads and knees out there. I really don’t blame the Steelers…
Stl only finished 9 back on the cubs. Adding Stanton and another big piece in the off season “could” make them a contender.
Not necessarily a free agent salary, but don’t the posting fees to his Japanese club go towards salary/luxury penalties? I’ll be the first to admit I haven’t dove head first into the details.
Faced with those 2 options I have no idea why you would go play for a god forsaken Giants team that already has luxury tax issues. I guess maybe he and Posey could hang out together during their annual injuries.
Unlikely. Both the Giants and Dodgers are paying the luxury tax right now. The money they would be paying for both Ohtani and Stanton would be insane. (Especially for the Dodgers)
I dunno. The Dodgers are in luxury tax hell, paying something like 30 million. The Marlins would have to eat a considerable amount of his salary for him to go play for them. Obviously Stanton is holding the cards here, but I really can’t see Miami paying a large majority of his salary while shipping him off. I hate…
Punitive damages exist to level the imbalance of power. In my above example, the multinational corporation is fine arguing with you over what FMV of your property is because they are already paying attorneys anyways, regardless of whether you wanted to remain there or not. It’s cheaper for them to do so.
“It says that if a farm is found to be a nuisance, a plaintiff can recover up to the total value of their property. The lawyers don’t like that. They want to sue farmers for outrageous sums without having to prove real damages.”
If the Bills don’t like Taylor thats one thing. I don’t think hes amazing but he’s definitely serviceable.
Wasn’t Buddy Hield a “big” piece in the Kings shipping off Boogie like.... 9 months ago?
