As logical (and correct) as that is, it is unfortunately beyond the ability of most of the general public. No matter where they live.

The support for full Welsh independence has jumped from about 6% a few years back to over 30%. And that was before COVID which has probably only increased it, especially with the UK government blocking sales of tests and PPE to Wales.

Unfortunately Wales doesn’t have much media. Pretty much all English language news comes straight from London. It’s no surprise that vote was different to Scotland, where they have their own voice.
