Surely all cars are designed with them. Are there any other countries beside the USA and Canada that have regions that do not require plates? Pretty sure every other country does. And even vehicles designed for North American market only will be designed with states/provinces that require a plate in mind

About speeding (or not) I used to like the old mercedes cruise control that allowed a speed limiter. In heavily enforced areas it’s such a great thing to have, yet doesn’t seem to be common.
