100% this. I love the idea, but I do not understand why they then draw over the embroideries?? It would have had a really cool and unique aesthetic if they had used them raw, but instead it just looks a bit regular but shoddy.

I 100% hate most things about EA, but yeah this isn’t on them.
If anything the EA top spotted (fairly late in the process when they were shown it) that the flight was the thing that felt great about that game, and that that needed to be the core. Good call, but not enough to save it unfortunately.
Honestly I know what you mean - it’s very vague - but at the same time I do think, just from watching the trailer, that I get where Luke is coming from. I couldn’t put it into words well either, but I absolutely see the weirdness that’s not quirky enough to be interesting, but unsettling/off enough to make it…
Every time I read that name, I get an instant bad taste in my mouth.
It’s so immediate and viceral.
Or at least some very vocal nerds.
There are also some of them that I’ve seen jizzing all over the new version of D2, only to get bored and go back to D3 quickly afterwards.
If the ARPG was a game where you were expected to play through the campaign once per character and that’d be it, then fine - lock it down.
But when you make a “game as a service” that keeps going and expects characters to be played for hundreds or thousands of hours, it becomes a lot less reasonable to lock options down…
100% with you there. I don’t get the fuss over getting”the best spot”, just to avoid a *tiny* bit of exercise. Because it’s almost never about there not being enough parking when you get into standoffs like that. It’s always about getting the closest spot avilable.
I don’t need any of that stress in my life.
Don’t know about the US, but in my country buying stolen goods is an offence. If you can show that you bought it in good faith, with a minimum of due diligence, you won’t be charged but the goods will be confiscated without repayment.
That said...
You know Fat Larry has access to some PRIMO ve-ge-ta-bles. Larry deals in two kinds a green and you can have one if you got the other.
Perception, purpose, context and emotional investment are all important factors.
I remember seeing some really shitty expenditure percentages for ARC last year, but I can’t find them now? Everywhere I look they’re actually pretty good..
The main reason I personally stopped giving to my local RC org though, was simply that they wouldn’t back off. Once you had given them money, they kept spamming via…
I thought about that when I looked at my policies last night, and noted again that the default Orbital Bombardment policy was “Indiscriminate”
“GASP! New information about SV??” :O :D
...
“Oh. It’s exactly the same information as we got 9 months ago + I’m taking a break from HC” ... :/
I honestly can’t say, but it doesn’t seem like he’s put any amount of effort into doing this, considering the *highly* condensed timeline we’re talking.
It’s not his bigoted view that’s the problem. It’s that the proposition is punishment for disagreeing with him.
The ”good” from ending the self-regulation for ONE COMPANY ONLY does not outweigh him abusing the government to punish them for using their qualified First Amendment rights (which corporations do have).
No…

The dudes name is real.
And it’s hard to disprove a statement of what they could theoretically do. But nothing has so far indicated that they are willing to do so. They are attacking him through the US legal system; if they were willing to forgive and forget, they’d have contacted him with that deal first, or made it a…
I have to wonder... compared to the $10 mil, how much money have game publishers (like Nintendo) stolen via wage theft, over a period of 7 years.
Just an idle thought.
Yes specifically I know of Nintendo’s reputation with regards to execs taking pay cuts to shield *regular* employees. I also know their reputation for…
First of all it means you can’t play when you’re on the go without access to net (for example on a Deck).
Second, it usually means that you can’t freaking pause the game if something happens, which is a simple feature many parents and pet owners in particular longs for.
Third, it sometimes creates issues when/if the…
Thanks for the clarification!
