Earthshaking popularity and widespread recognition is definitely what you should look for when you're discovering art.
Wow, Comic Book Guy in the AVClub comments.
I guess Enlightened WOULD lose its luster for you now that it's no longer timely to despair about how it's so much better than Girls.
I can't watch all of these shows. Stupid quality television.
I've watched the film twice and each time I've finished I immediately wanted to watch it again. It's bliss.
There are oblivious people out there, of course. On the other hand, most internet memes about how, gosh, nobody knows who people over 40 are anymore tend to be entirely self-perpetuating. It's like a machine that spits out straw men you can hold up to feel superior.
Do you have any examples of people being ignorant besides from a tweet someone photoshopped? (Side note: who cares that much about Paris Hilton anymore? Is it 2005?)
There's a whole conversation to that effect in the comments of this Sopranos review. http://www.avclub.com/revieā¦
My favorite is Mixology Certification, personally.
Those Sondheim books are fantastic. Highly recommended!
I agree! Being a fucking asshole makes you a fucking asshole.
I just watched this episode for the first time, the day before Thanksgiving. It was wonderful. So say we all.
Hi, I'm putting this comment right here at the top so it's one of the first seen. Sorry about that.
Well, Sean actually makes funny jokes, for one.
I find it interesting how Davies and Moffat's strengths and weaknesses seem to weirdly complement each other. Like a two sides of the same coin kind of thing.
That was James Marsden!
Not as loathsome as Marvin? That's a low, low bar.
Found that yesterday! (Thanks.)
