I don't know the "inside baseball" of Hollywood, but I doubt it's always feasible to cast someone in a main role, and then just stop using them (without killing the character) simply because the character ended up being a lot less entertaining than expected. I wish they had come up with a more creative idea for the Abigail character. Maybe the writers decided they wanted something sexual, but without having to add a "boyfriend" character? It was weird, and far worse, it wasn't entertaining.

Sopranos would be much better if about 1/3rd of the episodes were gone. It's not aging well at all.

Oh, c'mon as if those scenes were helpful in portraying what therapy is like in the real world. That show had a ton of "filler" episodes that were just plain boring and not aging well. Also, blocked for personal attacks without cause.

Ok then, I didn't realize there was hidden logic. But wouldn't all recappers think their show is "typically good"? Otherwise, why recap it at all? I'm just saying they can't all be above average all the time, especially when harsh words of criticism are used in the text.
