My one regret with that scene: the music that played during the "reveal" felt totally off. It stings less since it's not her final goodbye now, but in the moment it felt like that area whiffed where everything else (acting, makeup, etc.) was humming.

I'm sadly used to it by now. Gives me an excuse to rewatch the good ones at least.

I am so grateful I somehow missed all of those. Christmas present from myself!

Nathan McMullen has a real talent for looking like such an unassuming guy and still somehow coming off as an obnoxious asshole. I mean this as a compliment, he does a real good job playing jerks, loved him in Misfits, loved him here.

At the reveal of Clara being old, I instantly started feeling so sad about saying goodbye to her. Even when the character wasn't working Jenna Coleman was bringing so much to this show, but this season has turned Clara into a character finally worthy of Coleman's great performance. When she does leave, I'm really

When Clara was old, I was honestly expecting the Doctor to honor Shona's desire that they hang out by inviting her in. As much as I love Coleman, little bummed that didn't happen. Marsey was a stealth high point of this story.

So, so true. His reaction to Clara's hug was the best present this show could give me.

You too! It was a blast.

We're getting a season 2, right?!?

Hyrule Warriors, it's either going to grab you or it's not. But I will say, if you think it's too simple, it's really not.

I wouldn't give them too much credit, since it's a different company borrowing the world, but I do delight at seeing all this fan service in a different context. I didn't think we'd ever get knew material w/ Darunia, Midna, Girahim, not to mention one that has them fight!

Haha, exactly. They force you out of the comfort zone of All Impa All the Time and so you get a lot more replay value having to figure out how everyone works.

I want to throw some Hyrule Warriors love onto this. That game is fantastically addicting, built around simple concepts with tons of depth inside of them.

The tragic part is this post is already too late.

I think the tone of this list is more "what we were playing" and getting a larger survey of the game world itself than an actual ranked list of quality.

That might be it! That sounds familiar.

Big upvote from me

Which is very typical for that kind of middling sitcom, especially one in it's first season. No clear direction of where to be set. It's a nice touch.

I can't find where I read it, since most of my Google searches just lead me to one of those three characters (pretty sure it was a Q&A). I think Hirsch was talking about a new character that was scrapped, but he could have been talking about canonization of Blubs/Durland or Tyler's sexuality, it's too hard to remember.

I was in hysterics anytime they started playing one of the corniest jokes of all time, and then drew it out, and kept drawing it out, and then just delivered the awful punchline we were all expecting. The show has a clear mastery of controlling your expectations when it comes to sitcom hackiness.
