Haha thank you so much!

Thanks!

Thank you!

Thank you! Yeah, I definitely know I'll want to rewatch Hannibal sometime, that season bluray is going on the wishlist for sure.

I WILL

Thank you! LoveFest is a thing Narrator organized over at the Dissolve where people write about a movie they like that critics and others did not. It's pretty fun.

IT'S MAH BIRTHDAY! And I'm going to see Dawn of the Planet of the Apes but that hasn't happened yet, because my weekend isn't over yet! You confuse me AV Club!

It's always funny when entertainment news outlets make a joke about how much press a movie is getting. You guys are the press, if you're tired of hearing about these films than just don't print it.

According to Comic Con, the role was written for Ted Kord, but DC didn't want them to use him for non specific reasons. So they probably aren't planning on introducing shrinking powers anytime soon.

But they're not even the only blockbusters around. Edge of Tomorrow, Dawn of the Planet of the Apes, and Godzilla are just three examples of the several other blockbusters that are still around. It bothers me how people can get annoyed at something that's clearly optional.

You didn't just say they sucked though (which would be fine) you by implication called people who liked Slither idiots with your sarcastic remark about Slither and solid not being allowed in the same sentence. It's not your opinion that bothers me (I couldn't care less about what you think of Slither) it's the

You can't really make general statements like that though. Sure there's other not currently working directors that you think are better, but are there directors that you think are better, who's style would fit this particular script, and who would work well with a large budget and large amounts of studio direction?

I'd recommend better life goals then.

I was just arguing that Slither was a good movie. Most of the people buying tickets will never have heard of Slither or Super and don't know who directed Scooby-Doo much less who directed this. They don't have an opinion who James Gunn is so they are not going to be influenced by his track record, he's simply not a

What the hell, that was amazing. That man is ridiculously talented.

Then why are you even here?

I did not imply Slither was a classic, I'd give it about a 7/10, like Ryan said, solid. Why can't you consider Slither terrible, and Ryan and I consider Slither pretty all right, because the three of us have different taste in films? Why do all of our opinions have to be the same?

I'm really afraid they're going to kill him off.

What's so awful about superhero movies? There's only about three or four per year on average, way less than the number of period dramas or sports movies or schmaltzy biopics. Why does this subgenre, of all subgenres, annoy you?

John Barrowman was promoted to regular cast member for season 3, so we will be getting a lot of him. Get excited.
