That said, there's a way to be obnoxious and entertaining an Larry is not the latter. I agree that Biggs is fine though.

Speaking of great subtle acting scenes, the one where Piper realized Polly had sex with Larry was perfect. It was all done in her face.
Healy gives me very complex emotions. He's gross. He's so gross. But he honestly wants to change and I think he honestly, on some level, wants to do good. Because of that he gets a basic level of sympathy from me that keeps competing with my disgust.
Me and my brother both agree that Cal is the best non-prison character by far. Like that's debatable at all.
Oh yeah, Grotto is good. A visit there is pretty much tradition for my family.
D.B. and Boardwalk are also chains (if you count them as restaurants) but all of those three are high quality enough that I can accept them. Yeah, the local restaurants are great, as is pretty much everything in that quaint town center. Did you know they got a new comic shop in the main square? It's great, there's a…
Congrats on the casting! I wish my high school or college did alumni productions.
I went with my family to Bethany Beach, still my favorite beach I've ever been to. The beaches are clean, the visitors are mostly quiet families, the shops are great, I just love its vibe. I also love seeing all my aunts and uncles and cousins, and playing all the new board games they've discovered over the year.
Damn, my bad.
Stick a pro wrestler in a cage though and he could get the jump on a unexpecting UFC fighter, sure. Ghazan was clearly already some master of a fighting form (that certainly wasn't the style the usually use for airbending) and was using his skill just as a way to defend and punch harder. Easy skills.
Glad to hear it's not just me.
You rewatch it and realize how little it's really connected to the rest of the series. It's a good intro, but then the season starts to try and juggle the pro bending and Amon plots, and doesn't do that very well IMO.
The humor has been solely missed. I also attribute it to a number of wacky side characters. ATLA loves its wacky side characters! And between the failed Airbender recruits, the Earth Queen, those weird bikers, Bolin and Mako's family, there was more than we've ever seen in this show.
Realistic, yes. Entertaining to watch and invest in, no. It reminds me why I never invested in any of my friends' relationships in high school.
Over three weeks. From the sound of it the Airbender powers were triggered that long ago, and he seems like a very spiritually attune guy who would notice. Plus, it's not like he did much beyond pulling and hitting people with it.
I just hope Toph is alive for Bei Fong Mania 2014. I want nothing more.
We never really left Republic City though, it was always part of a few subplots. This is a clean break, and very refreshing.
I was in stitches. I love Zuko being around in a big way this year, and I'm also a fan of Eska and Desna getting a role to play too.
I was worried too, but sending him to brainwashing boot camp might give him a good purpose.
Meelo scares me. That attitude plus his ability to raise a lemur army makes me wonder if Book 4 won't be The Revenge of Meelo.
