It's his robot family, duh, haha what else could he be…

Happy Birthday!

Is no one going to start? Fine, I'll start.

Congratulations!

I graduated college…yep. You'll probably be seeing me on this site a lot more in the coming months haha.

This seems like a good place to plug my favorite pop history book: The Ultimate History of Video Games. It covers 19th century pinball machines to the sixth generation launch in 2001, with the biggest focus on the heyday of Atari and the rise of Nintendo. The Nintendo-Sega war doesn't get a ton of attention, but

Today in Weird Trivia I Can't Believe I Remember Off the Top of My Head, the Animation Domination block did briefly have a live action show in it in Spring 2010 with the short lived Sons of Tucson. So it hasn't been as permanent as the top paragraph seems to imply.

Between the arc shaped visor and giant gun covering their right hand, the top figure in that poster looks a lot like Samus Aran. Which makes this the closest we're going to get to a Metroid game ever again.

Classic Doctor Who. A kind of person who finds something other people like and enjoys it (so they're not too snobby) but push themselves to fully understand it into the less cool popular parts is alright in my book.

Timothy Hutton again! I love that guy. Should probably check out Nero Wolfe sometime.

I don't think someone who believes their virginity must be "protected" is going to be very pro-choice.

Haha see my edit.

So Flash is using the Static Shock method of worldbuilding. I like it.

I watched the first episode of Reign and found it pretty silly, in a fun way. I'm sad I didn't stick with it now, I'm going to try to catch up.

Nah, he'll wind up in Siberia, or something like that. Just because he leaves Hong Kong, doesn't mean the Island is the only place left to go.

Related, I had a realization mid-finale that with Moira dead, Oliver finally has two dead parents, making him a real superhero finally.

Please TV gods, give us Barrowman as a regular next season. I will never tire of him.

Eh, just watch all of it. Even bad early episodes has character and plot moments that will get picked up on down the line. And even the bad episodes are never boring.

I love how he's just SO PROUD of his daughter. Like he's the dad who would pin all her drawings to the fridge, proudly display all the consolation sports trophies she "won" while playing in the Little League, and would gladly stuff her first kill and mount it over the fireplace.

For me, it was the Ollie/Slade fight happening in parallel five years apart. That was some tight shit.
