I object to Teti's statement that having fun isn't an important part of staging Hamlet. The best Hamlets all look like their having a blast pretending to be a crazy emo teenager.

I just object to the idea that it needs to die. I'm perfectly fine with Mario and Zelda rehashes because I really enjoy Mario and Zelda games. Why wouldn't I want more of them? And they still get enough original IPs so I don't feel too creatively stagnated.

I got a Nintendo gift card and couldn't decide between Mario and Luigi 4 and Layton 6…so I bought Wario Land 3 off the virtual console. Definitely worth the $5 for that rush of nostalgia, but it's sadly much easier and simpler than I remember it. Probably because I'm a decade older and actually know how games work…

Adventure Time's hairpin emotional turns are one of it's big strengths, and nothing showcases that better than the Lich's creepy as hell monologue. That was some seriously chilling stuff, delivered beautifully by Pearlman.

Blue skin, yes. Jury's still out on circus costumes since it was just one, mangled, naked corpse. It was exciting for Agents to get something that progresses the verse, even if it also felt like it was done out of pity.

I'd also watch "T.A.H.I.T.I" and "End of the Beginning" too. They seem to set up important things, and they're not bad episodes. Not great, but I wasn't bored watching them.

I agree, I've even seen proof, that the director (at least, but that means probably the writers too) didn't see it as rape. But since it seems like a majority of people are coming away thinking it was, there was clearly a fuck up on their end, and they deserve to be taken to task for it.

Hahaha I laughed hard at that line and all the Chrysler/Bentley stuff too. I also liked all the talk about "shifty eyes", culminating in Mary accusing Edith of murdering Edith because she had "shifty eyes".
