But does anyone actually count Zelda II for anything?

YES! THIS!

Apollo Justice tested my faith (it wasn't bad, but it was a worrying step down) but the new team satisfied me with Investigations and so won me over with Dual Destinies. Dual Destinies might honestly be my favorite AA game overall, just in the way it coheres together. I'm so excited for the English patch for

A proper Paper Mario: Thousand Year Door sequel. Please. Pretty please. I'm begging you Nintendo.

I'm so desperate, I'd take a Tales sequel. I'm 100% serious.

Pedantic point: The series was only notable for shaking things up visually because of the huge leaps in technology between games. Now that we're not going to see any more big leaps in graphic technology, it makes sense that the style has stabilized.

Weird, I had the opposite reaction. Played the Paper Mario games first, loved them, but couldn't get too into SMRPG because it felt like an unpolished and unrefined version of it.

The main character is not even the worst part! The worst part is there's only two real characters, and the rest are either returning members that act as experience sponges or using the half-baked monster mechanic. My favorite draw of Symphonia is how the entire cast interacts with one another, both plot and battle

I'm torn, because I really want to play more The World Ends With You, but the story of that game was concluded perfectly. I'd be so okay with a game set in the same world with a different cast ala Legend of Zelda or Fire Emblem.

Probably if there was a simultaneous release, the watered down 3DS version would get the sales shaft. Now, people will buy it for the early release, while the Wii U version will probably still get a boost from holiday shoppers. I believe in general consoles have more to gain from holiday sales than portables because

This isn't really a surprise, it's been Winter 2014 since the first announcement of the game. But yeah, if I bought a WiiU (instead of just playing the one my parents bought for the whole family), and had regular access to it I'd be upset.

Summer 2014 for the 3DS version
Winter 2014 for the Wii U version

I'm betting they've been (sadly) cut. Happy to be proven wrong though.

A Gen VI Pokemon isn't very surprising, yeah, though I don't think anyone expected that specific one. Then again, I haven't been keeping tabs on which ones are popular.

Since it looks like Gameological won't have an article about it, here's a thread for everyone who saw the Smash Bros Direct and wants to be hyped with me. Honestly, I think the biggest surprise for me was the City Trial esque mode. I love Kirby Air Ride, and I'm so happy to see one of Sakurai's best ideas

The book was my first exposure to the article series and I loved it. So I say it's worth it.

Oh yeah, that was a real long game teaser.

I'm an idiot for not noticing that :P

Reinstall Adobe Reader, that'll fix it.

Thor linked to Avengers, Thor 2 linked to Guardians, and Cap 2 linked to Avengers 2, so it's more random then you think.
