Just tried FeedSquares but I don't really get it. It's interesting but it doesn't seem to be a very efficient way to plow through my feeds.

Nope

I just use a website as well (appleserialnumberinfo.com). I don't see the point in installing an app if it doesn't provide you specific details on the current configuration.

Can you get this to automatically sync to Dropbox after each shutter press (similar to DropPhox)? So far I haven't tried out any alternate camera apps because they all seem to be missing something.

What bothers me is the inability to receive MMS on my GV number. People think they're sending me an MMS but but it never actually comes through. Since most of my friends have smartphones I can just send pictures as emails but it until there's a way around the lack of incoming MMS support, I can't start using GV as my

I thought this might be a good alternative to the free service I currently use, myfax.com/free. Then I realized it's only 20 free pages total—not per month. I'll stick with MyFax.

I'm assuming ptrader, like many of us, doesn't have a land line. This is one area where Google Voice shines for me. I have a group for the few clients where I got lazy and accidentally leaked my personal cell to. I just send these straight to voicemail.

After that, you can drag the tab back into your main Chrome window so as not to have multiple Chrome windows open. Would be nice if someone wants to come up with a way to avoid all those steps though.

Agreed. There are some great DIY ideas on Lifehacker but it gets pretty old seeing the endless articles about how to make a cheesy DIY version of a widget out of office supplies rather than pay less than $5 for a far superior product on eBay.

You need to install Insomnia from Cydia to keep wi-fi on when locked. You should also use the SBS toggle for it to turn off when not needed. Or get Inomnia Pro to set schedules.

What about data reliability? I'm okay with my 3Gs not having cable modem speed but it really sucks when it craps out for even a couple minutes if I'm on the road and trying to look something up.

I installed this and it doesn't seem to have done anything. I get the MobileNotifier section in Settings but there's nothing in it other than developer credits. Anyone else experience this? I'm on 4.1.

To earn a higher percentage cash back on the Costco card, sign up for the business version. If you are not incorporated, you can just use your SSN as the business ID (in other words, anybody can sign up for this version).

I recently found Five Icon Switcher, which is free and would more accurately be called Up To Ten Icon Switcher and Unlimited Scrolling For Apps That Don't Fit In the First Row.

You can also accomplish much of this natively by opening a persistent Get Info pane (Apple+I) which will automatically update as you navigate through the filesystem.

Why not just spend $5 or less on eBay to get a real swiveling mount that you can easily change from horizontal to vertical?

For the Google Voice tip, you may also want to create a custom greeting for these people so they get something like "quit calling me, dork" or "this number has been disconnected."

@Whitson Gordon: Many network admins actually deploy FF these days.

Would be pretty appealing if they partnered with business to do some kind of a match (like Groupon did with Kiva in the past). I would definitely make use of that since my employer does not have a matching program.

@pz: Yes, quite different now. However, if a manufacturer isn't going to upgrade a phone from from 1.x to 2.0, 2.1, or 2.2, I doubt they plan to upgrade at all. Thus, people with a 2 year contract are fairly stuck for now. It will take awhile for these phones to cycle out of circulation.
