@pz: I think somebody release a chart a few days ago showing the OS version distribution but I'm too lazy to look it up. Here's one from May showing about 2/3 of users on 1.6 or earlier:

Just realized the iPhone now supports 2 Exchange accounts w/o hacking. Whitson, you may want to post an updated article.

@tonynyc: Did you restart Firefox? They should have mentioned that is necessary.

@timgray: Why do you need the three different media types? I'd prefer my server-based backup to end up on a disk rather than tape. Restoring from tape is not fun.

@bunedoggle: I think the idea is that now that it's easier to take a dozen pictures in a matter of seconds without worrying about wasting money on film/developing, many of us end up with multiple mostly-identical images. I'd rather delete the slightly out of focus or otherwise inferior ones than waste time in the

@japzone: I got the B&W one because the point of getting an ereader for me is the e-ink display. Still, I'm a little jealous.

@djscruffy: Lifehacker did a similar poll recently and I recommended ShadowProtect from StorageCraft. It allows continuous incremental image-based backups. It also allows booting any restore point with VirtualBox in case you want to test several restore points before deciding which one you want to restore.

@Apoc28: You may be able to break Amazon's DRM to read your ebooks on other devices but as far as I know you still can't read industry-standard DRM'd PDFs on the Kindle. Among other things, this keeps you from being able to read library ebooks from many public libraries.

Should probably mention that the people who need this most (older, pre-2.x phones) can't get it.

Well, there's always Facebook Questions but I guess the quality of answers depends on how smart your friends are.

@stevelucky1: Yeah, but I bet the typo made you click through to the article so you could comment. Well played, Jason.

@Division by Zero: It's kind of a hybrid of both. Check out the last couple seconds of the video.

@neergrm: Their policy is to give you your drink for free and a voucher for another free one later.

VOTE: ShadowProtect

For a free gas price finder, try "Cheap Gas!" It uses Gasbuddy.com to find prices.

@fznmomin: It doesn't have to—it basically "tricks" Windows into seeing the files in your game directory the same way even though they're really on another drive. If there are other DLL files somewhere else that don't get moved to the new drive it won't make a difference as far as the program is concerned.

Did this yesterday afternoon with newer 3Gs. Started with Spirit jailbreak 3.1.3; upgraded to official 4.0.1 and jailbroke. Most of my previous jailbroken settings survived.

@Wabbited: Oh no! Not plastic hormones! Is the plastic industry using those now to make their plastic grow faster?

There are a ton of programs out there to download/back up your Flickr photos but does anyone have a good method for backing up the captions and comments? I'm trying to switch to Picasa Web Albums but I have a lot of info I'll lose if I give up my Flickr Pro account.
