I usually just add “dlv” in front of youtube in the URL and that page gives me the option to instantly download the video

Or just use a simple service like www.dlvyoutube.com that instantly downloads it as mp4

Yeah that’s true.. I just use the dlv trick to download youtube videos (www.dlvyoutube.com) but it would be nice to see Google implementing this themselves..

Well if you want to download a youtube video there’s a simpler way than through VLC.. just add “dlv” in front of youtube in the url so that it becomes www.dlvyoutube.com and there you have options for downloading everything straight from YouTube.

When I find a Youtube video I’d like to download I just put “dlv” in front of youtube in the url so it becomes [http://www.dlvyoutube.com www.dlvyoutube.com] and there it gives me the option to download it.

Don’t understand the need to install extra software for stuff that can be solved with the lovely web =)

I would just go on Amazon and buy a pull-up bar to put in the doorway for 20$ (there are even“plug-and-play” variants)..
