I have a collection of vintage and antique cookbooks passed down to me. The recipes in them are amazing. I have the BEST baking recipes from them. When not a care about butter and carbs was to be had. Many of them also include tips for the housewife.

Salsify is delicious! I had it once when I was staying at a Shaker inn in Kentucky. (I’m not entirely sure that’s right. It was definitely Kentucky, and the inn was old-timey.)  

Honestly, I’m more disgusted that MsCaskill and Heitenkamp lost.  You shouldn’t lose for doing the right thing.  And especially with Heitenkamp, there was some pretty evil fuckery.
