Puerto Rico is allowed to, but that doesn’t help sell the narrative. Considering how often it is brought up though in spite of it’s apparent (and not hard to find) irrelevancy, I can only assume there’s more to it under the hood.

So, you and your womanfriends are going for a woman’s night out after work?

*shrug* I’m unconvinced most previous presidents were the former. They’re just less obviously the latter.

Not neccessarily.

I think that’s the big thing, contrary to the ESRB, loot boxes are definitely gambling.

*shrug*

I think he’s simply pointing out that releasing those particular prisoners aren’t going to save much money, because those particular prisoners are effectively paying their own way via work release programs.

Ah, but was she talking about “diversity in tech” or simple “diversity”.

Sadly, I think I have to agree with the tweet by Trump Jr. that I read in the article on CNN.

Personally, I also strongly suspect that opening loot boxes/CCG packs also hit the same dopamine pleasure centers that gambling does, (largely because I think they’re basically the same) but I’m unaware if anybody has actually done a study on it. Would be a strong argument that biologically, at least, they are

And sure they called baseballe cards out on it. It’s just hard to google the chat room complaints about them, though there are some online articles form the late 90's around.

There is no risk involved in spending money trying to get the “good” item in the loot box/ccg pack instead of the lame thing you already have 10 of?

Not as much Drama?

Depends on your definition of economics, I’d guess. I’ve never blamed lawyers and class privilege though. The poor, I’ve always assumed, simply have more incentive to commit crime, and less at risk should they get caught. And, possibly, less education on how to avoid falling into criminal “traps”. Does it matter? I see nothing wrong with convicted felons being used as slave labor for the duration of their sentence. Whether said felon is some white guy found guilty of sex trafficking kidnapped underage girls, or some black stock broker found guilty of insider trading*.

Yep, that was pretty much the same statistic I remember reading. That the U.S. alone grows enough food to feed the entire world. The problem with starvation is largely distribution.

Sure, but most CCG’s have at least been pretending to self-regulate in order to avoid real regulation, typically by attempting to make the value of the cards in a pack relatively equal. i.e. each pack having X common, Y uncommon, and Z rare cards. If the rarity is equal, the claim can be made that the value is.

Honestly, I’m not entirely sure I see anything wrong with a pregnant X year old girl marrying her boyfriend, as long as there is no shotgun involved, and the ages of the two are such that there is no statutory rape involved either, so I see the argument against a hard-and-fast “no marriage under 18".

So...
