I think they’re saying that it’s irrelevant whether the *suspects* are black. What matters is the suspects are inciting violence as retaliation for the deaths of black people. Now sure, most of those suspects are black, but they aren’t suspects *because* they are black. It’s their behavior/views that make ‘em suspect.

One thing to point out, the life expectancy for Medieval times of ~30 something didn’t mean most people only lived to ~30. It means most people died as babies, really bringing down the average.

I’m not sure why it’s a big deal that the “menacing men” in an ad were prisoners in El Salvador, (which doesn’t mean they aren’t MS-13, fwiw). It’s not like they can walk up to members of MS-13 and ask, “Hey, would you mind posing for a photo?”

Not really, as I understand it most retail/restaurants rent their property, they don’t own it. Much less the parking lot. Particularly true in strip malls and such, which is where (in my area at least) you are most likely to find fast food joints.
