The copiers actions have no value.
You sure? I was under the impression it’s simply income (Miscellaneous income, to be specific), not short term capital gains. (which, admittedly, is taxed at the same rate)
presumably triggering an emergency call to the wheel-fixing guy.
First off: There’s nothing wrong with using someone else’s login—morally
Maybe this is racist, but I’m sort of surprised to see China way up there. Seems like racking up hundreds of thousands in unpaid parking tickets is like the opposite of saving face.
Is the story really as sketchy as the title for the article suggests?
If you have autonomous tenders, then you have autonomous cars. Which means you don’t have to park your car anywhere close to your destination. It lets you out in front of the steps of your office/home, then trundles of however many miles to the nearest charging depot if it needs a charge, before returning to park…
You know you went too far with your breast enhancements when they literally rest on your lap when you sit.
Why? Austin isn’t near the ocean. Dallas isn’t near the ocean. Denver isn’t near the ocean. Las Vegas isn’t near the ocean. Pittsburgh isn’t near the ocean. Cincinnati isn’t near the ocean. There are more places with lower cost of living that aren’t in the danger zone than are.
Yes. But then, I tend to think Libraries are a legal form of piracy.
Sometimes, but DEFINITELY not always. Sometimes people perfectly willing and able to buy legit copies when they can’t find a crack soon enough, but they prefer “Free” to $50.
Actually, the report concluded that their is no way to determine if piracy has a direct impact on sales. Lack of concrete proof doesn’t mean something isn’t true.
The thief never cares that he’s stealing, even when it is tangible property, so I fail to see your point.
I don’t understand “Where to?”. Only a small percentage of land on the planet is within ~10 feet of sea level. Pick a random spot and it’ll probably fit the bill. Most of the pressures for big cities being on coasts are no longer valid, and starting inland migrations now from those big cities makes a lot more sense…
I’d assume it’s up to the individual what to do with their insurance money, whether to rebuild their wreck of a house or move someplace sane.
I see no indication in the article that she’s in jail. And there’s a difference between being in jail for an attempted terrorist attack, (has anybody checked to see if there’s any sign of radicalization in her social spaces?) and being in jail for not having a license.
I’m more curious about why she thought backing up a bit to be more squarely in the path of the train was a good idea.
I assume she’s in jail? All I see in that video is somebody carefully placing their car in such a way as to block a train as accurately as possible. You even see her back up a bit when she decides she’s too far forward to be right in front of the train.
