So, basically, there is no contradiction, all the statements are accurate, people just like jumping on whatever Trump says.

How exactly are they racially profiling guests? According to the article, they are sending in the entire guest list to the authorities every morning.
To be “fair”, getting some of her hair doesn’t require assault. A maid at a hotel could probably get it off her comb/brush/whatever, and I’m not even sure that would be breaking any laws.
It’s been a long time since chemistry, but I seem to recall that aluminum powder can be fairly explosive under certain conditions, maybe it’s not sparks but tiny explosions?
Yeah, I have no real idea either, it just seems highly questionable to me, hence me asking the question in my original post.
Except I can see an argument being made that a school may pick this textbook because it has Brock in it vs a different textbook that doesn’t, particularly considering the facebook post essentially creating advertising for it.
Are you sure? As I said previously my google research indicated the successful suits against those sites relied on right to publicity, which as far as I can tell is applicable regardless of guilt or innocence. Claims of extortion failed because the information was already up. (Apparently, according to the article,…
Is she? DACA didn’t change the law, it’s merely a pinky-swear by the Executive branch not to enforce it.
Garcia, who is living legally in the U.S. under the Deferred Action for Childhood Arrivals (DACA) program
I’m curious what the 4 aggravated battery charges are.. Obviously punching the guy in the face is one of them, but I don’t see the other 3 in the story presented. Spitting on the two people (assuming it landed) is only regular battery, I believe. Aggravated battery, AFAIK, requires intent (or actually) doing serious…
Yes and no. If a photographer takes a photo of somebody, and then proceeds to sell it (or otherwise uses it for commercial purposes) without getting permission from the subject (or blurring out their face), the subject can easily sue him, in spite of the copyright of the photograph belonging to the photographer. …
Interesting, after google search it seems like those sort of “son of sam” laws that try to prevent criminals from profiting from the publicity of their crimes are almost inevitably struck down as unconstitutional when they are attempted to be used. (California’s, incidentally, was struck down in 2002)
I find it really hard to believe textbooks aren’t “commercial use”. As far as I’m aware making and selling textbooks is highly profitable, and I find no indication SAGE publications is any different.
I assume they will rent the hardware/software, and leave it up to the apartment complex, mom & pops, local corner store, whomever to do the restocking.
Maybe this isn’t the right place to ask, (and I admit I find it amusing/fitting) but is using his mugshot (I assume) in a textbook like that actually legal w/o permission?
So I assume you agree then that the true solution is therefor to address the existence of undocumented residents in the U.S. of A. one way or the other so that there are no longer undocumented residents that are vulnerable to this double exploitation, and change things so that it is no longer worthwhile attempting to…
Uhm, good luck getting that information. Please ICE, give us the list of all the people you were planning on deporting, so they can run off and hide before you can get to them.
He may be right. After a google search, it turns out in South Africa the driver is on the right hand side, which looks mostly intact with a survivable “void”. Any passenger, however, would be toast.
Sure, but my point is making fun of him for his bad English is unfair if it wasn’t his decision to do the English reporting. It’d be like making fun of a software engineer if his boss tells him to do the art for a game and it sucks because he’s not an artist vs. him volunteering and promising he’s really good at it. …
So, I assume she was charged with driving a Porsche SUV?
