It comes down to one core issue. This new requirements requires you to pass all tests flawlessly or you are not allowed to sell the vehicle in the U.S.

I work at a Ford lot. I haven’t seen anything over sticker since the height of the pandemic.

It is. That brother sold his interest in Factory Five, became an advisor for Local Motors (Rally Fighter), then started Smyth Performance. Smyth’s first car, the g3f, a roadster kit based on a VW Jetta TDi platform with the engine and transaxle moved to midship position, failed as Factory Five’s 818 hit the market.

My wife aspired to own a classic Wagoneer growing up. It was the ultimate, old money, WASPy status symbol.

Star for the keyboard slip of “indecent”

Counterpoint: Chrysler should have done this as a factory model, it would have been epic. I like this more than is appropriate. NP for concept, execution, and uniqueness.

I can’t wait until we get some idiot with more money than brains running one one of these on our lake (it has a typical depth of 5-6’ with the deepest hole being 11’) along with the seven other wake boats that are already running on it. It’s truly disgusting watching the trail of silt they leave behind as their prop

Alternatively, Man dies attempting to save cars

Hharassing? Try they where being fucking shot at.

I really hope this BS doesn’t have a similar outcome to what the electrical workers in Houston dealt with during the last big blackout (the big lie on that was that the unions stopped work to negotiate a better contract mid-emergency). Multiple crews had to move equipment or stop work because members of the public kept

These appear occasionally in “glider” form on the second hand market. They were brought to the US w/o drivetrains for use in some EV-type startup (think Coda, but w/trucks).

Did you ask for input from an actual Las Vegas resident? No? Too bad, you’re getting it anyway.

The full length of “The Loop” (which isn’t actually a loop, but never mind that) runs from Resorts World to the east end of the South Hall of the Convention Center. Google Maps tells me this is a 1.5 mile, 33-minute walk.

The Musk fanboys will talk all day about what a genius Musk is because he can dig holes cheaper than anyone, but you will find that they will be very light on real facts. That’s because there is absolutely nothing special Musk did. His Boring Company bought one or more existing used tunnel diggers and just dug a hole.

A buddy in college had the ‘83 Turbo Coupe until he got t-boned at a light.  The Turbo Coupe was a serious ride in the late-80s, and the SC was a real step up.  I doubt you’ll find a better example anywhere, and if you have any nostalgia for mid-80s aero cars, this is the one you really want.

A battle of wits, you say? Never go against a Sicilians when DEATH is on the line!

There seems to be so much wrong with that Vegas Loop system.

I agree. This is peak T-Bird in my opinion. It has the mechanical headaches of a BMW 6-series from that era, but it has cache for those who lived through this era. This is an excellent example.

The E-Bird!

The speedometer checks out.  The large white numbers are km/h, while the smaller, yellow numbers are mph.

I voted NP. It’s in great condition, and if you love this generation of T-bird, this is probably the one to get.
