Wacom devices also cost a pretty penny and you can only use the included pen. But for $250, has thousands of levels of sensitivity, and able to use whatever surface and input device you want? Count me in.
It would perform much better than a Wacom for musicians specifically because of the pressure sensitivity. A large control surface where you have bidirectional control plus pressure sensitivity means you can do a lot of complex stuff with simple actions, especially if you’re good with MIDI.
If it perform at least in the same level as a Wacom, they might have a good market, specially since they work with whatever you want to.
