I think he wants a team that will be in serious contention in 2021 and onward. A Boston sports talk pair (Felger and Mazz, lampooned more than once on this page) calls this team the Bridge Celtics. I’m 100% in agreement with their opinion. This current team is a quality, competitive group which will play exciting ball

I can just imagine this exchange....Hey Mr. Turd Ferguson.

This is one of my favorite Deadspin comment stories I’ve read.

I’m really pulling for Justin. His father is the pro at the club is belonged to outside of Louisville and I played with Justin maybe 50 times.

Nashville has shown itself to be a true hockey town filled with real fans, because they booed the living shit out of Bettman last night, as is proper and right.

Don’t they have 2 referees in the NHL now? Why would the policy still be to blow the whistle if one (of two) refs loses sight of the puck? Really terrible call.

Unfortunately the whistle (or half-assed attempt at it, anyway) pretty well destroys anything that happens after it’s blown. You can’t fault a goalie for losing a puck after hearing a whistle - of course, when the goalie never actually establishes any sort of control that makes the whole situation that much worse.

Glad we’ve watched 8 months of hockey only to have the championship decided by terrible officiating...

Easily one of the worst calls by an official in any sport this century.

Sure, a foul is a foul, but call them all the same is all fans ask for. Please don’t say it doesn’t have an impact on the rest of the game, especially against a team where no lead is safe.

Warriors fan here for going on something like 30 years. So, you can take it all with a grain of salt, but I’m not a bandwagoner or anything.

The thing you’re overlooking is that most of the advantage for the Cavs came from fouls that weren’t being called. Cleveland was committing felonies off the ball at both ends and getting away with it. And I know it’s just one play, but not a word about the backcourt no-call?

Everyone seems to be ignoring the replay that was shown later in the game that shows the ref actually issuing the first tech. It’s very clear the ref intended to call the first tech on Kerr... he looked directly at Kerr, and then directed the signal directly at Kerr. If there is any reason to be suspicious of the

It wasn’t about free throws as it’s hard to play defense and match the physicality of the Cavs with all the fouls. A bulk of fouls came in 1st not allowing warriors to play with pace and had they had to worry about getting too many fouls. Bottom line warriors defense was handcuffed after first qtr which is a huge part

Are you fucking blind? It’s at Kerr.

As a neutral viewer: Refs absolutely benefited Cavs to a severe degree in first quarter. Refs then proceeded to completely shit the bed, frequently in the Warriors favor, in the second half. Cavs won.

Dude. Look at the ref in that clip. Look who he does the technical gesture at. It is not at Green, it is directly at Kerr.

In my defense, your reply is damn near longer than this particular post.

As a Bruins fan, the Bruins have to be in there....

Takes longer to get to the action than Sergio at Bethpage.
