Reviews are a risk that they can’t control. The questions they asked themselves was... do we gain enough from good reviews to warrant the loss of sales from bad reviews? They also asked themselves how many copies can we sell to people who are too impulsive to wait for reviews to come out?

Bingo. I 100% guarantee you this is a risk / reward decision suggested by their marketing department. I’m sure Bethesda has an idea about how many copies of game X within the first 24 - 48 hours of launch. I’m also pretty sure they’ve done the math between how much they advertise a game, how many copies they expect to

America is superior? I don’t understand? I know Granda is awesome, but her furniture usually doesn’t make my top 10 list of great things about America.
