Frankly, I'm totally fine with stuff like this as long as it's funny (see: all of Louis CK's standup), but the Koreatown joke failed in that regard, and that's the root of the problem. It was especially disappointing considering that Max's delivery of "the Hobbit wasn't very good" was hilarious on its own.
