So I was thinking about this episode after re-watching it, and something dawned on me. Rick has described Morty as an indispensable ally for his ‘work’ but hates Jerry for being with Beth. If Jerry wasn’t with Beth there wouldn’t BE a Morty. So what is his real hang up?
