EVERYONE STOP WHAT YOU ARE DOING and watch the Yannick Bisson interview on the Strombo show available on YouTube. Stick it out until George asks him about what he wants most in the world for his daughters.

HEART/OVARIES exploding at once.

She should have checked with Urban Diplomat first.

I'm totally from Barrie - I would not have even noticed that was what it was underneath the crossed-out 'privacy' thingy! Amazing.

Still probably won't visit the Applebee's. It's in a weird spot in Barrie for most people to visit.

"It's like you're my mirror....my mirror's staring back at me..."

Actually, in Canada the largest group of people who fall under the trafficked for sex work definition is indigenous people, so at least here the scale isn't different.

The scale of invisibility of the problem is skewed one way though.

Serious question: what part of Canada did/do you live in / visit that made you feel that way? I'm Canadian, and I want to know where to direct the anger and fixing.

I have a copper one, my sister has a Mirena. She said at her work (mostly female employees) there's a semi-formal support group for people going through hell month with their Mirenas.

FWIW, I think "trust" was meant to be "thrust", which is probably an exaggeration given the neighbour later claims to use the best vibrator.

It's not really about the baby's clothing preference, it's about the way people react to the baby. Babies DO notice how others interact with them, and a baby who is obviously a girl gets a lot more screechy cooing, gentle handling and comments about smiling and how she looks. Boys get lower tones, rougher handling

That was why I didn't get too excited about TSwift saying a similar thing, too. Less based on her public statements and more on her lyrics, though. (Which I thought was fair since she made her name on being the author of them.)

I agree.

Lots of people take pictures of their stillborn babies, as it's a helpful thing to some people in the grieving process. It's incredibly common in L&D departments, as is dressing the babies for the picture, etc.

I don't think it's a leap to take a picture of a smaller fetus in the same vein, especially in a family that

Also:

Man, I can identify with the unfortunate glare coming off of that other little girl. #palepeopleproblems

I figured that given that the camera mostly focuses on the two little girls that there's like, a 50% chance the people laughing their asses off ARE that other little girl's parents.

It's so much cheaper! And the shipping is generally free. Someday if I have spare money and bookstores still exist, I'll shop there instead on principle. But I'm just a poor, poor student at the moment.

That, and the fact that most people buy a lot of their books online. I definitely do the "browse IRL, buy online" thing.

I got a Metallica DVD ad - surprisingly similar to the original video soundtrack.
