I don't know if Kyle Fowler just insists on fault finding or if he genuinely doesn't enjoy the series, but either way he's not an objective critic. Why not find a critic who at least GETS the series? I usually come to these through RT, and very often its the AV club who's the only one who gave a rotten tomato.

Then I guess he's not the only one. Because I agree this review is BS.

I say yes. But be warned: It's NOTHING like the Nolan movies and it couldn't care less about any of the comic book canon. It's the kind show you watch with Ben and Jerrys and laugh at the lack of subtly and over the top violence.
Season 1 was pretty clumsy, as it didn't quite know what worked best and what didn't.
