Poorly. This park has been cited by many welfare organizations as being particularly bad. They also traffic in illegal tiger parts for traditional chinese “medicine”

Tigers are not pack hunters.

They are fattened for slaughter, so perhaps not a relief.

I think it most likely is, as I’ve seen reported elsewhere.

Some context is important here. This is not a zoo. And these are not wild animals (China only has about 7 wild tigers left). This is most likely a tiger farm in China. They raise them so that they can slaughter them and grind their bones into powder than is added to wine and sold for thousands of dollars.

It’s cute

Tiger farm. Not zoo. No reputable zoo would put that many tigers in one enclosure. Most likely these tigers are being raised for slaughter to be turned into wine for rich Chinese people.

It’s so weird that Greenland isn’t really green and Iceland isn’t really that icy.

Is something I would say to every Icelander until they kicked me out of the country.

The Martians finally learn to work together as a team and come from behind to beat the bullies to win the ice hockey championship. And the coach gets the girl.

Oh, sorry. That’s The Mighty Ducks.

I, for one, would find such a post-extinction world not even worth surviving.

Came here to post this one. It’s a nice little park now, and well-maintained by a group of volunteers. Most of the grandstand is still there.

Occoneechee Speedway in Hillsborough, NC, was one of the first two NASCAR tracks to open. Now it’s a pleasant park maintained by a volunteer group. They’ve preserved most of the original grandstands.

I wouldn’t sweat it too much. I have two kids and as I recall, the first trimester is pretty rough for all involved. But things tend to get more comfortable and more fun after the 3rd month.

When is Elon going to Mars? Can we move that forward a little bit?

It’s fine to support Ellison. He has a lot of things going for him!

But can we end this bullshit about Perez being some sort of policy hack? He was a really good Secretary of Labor and deserves better.

This is actually the only compelling and convincing thing I’ve read about this dumb proxy argument. Thanks.

I guess that’s true if you just forget about Joe Leiberman and Max Baucus.

I haven’t forgotten about those assholes.
