Same thing I’ve said in every article about this show - many more people should watch it and I hope they do now that it’s on HBO Max alongside the DC network.

Gadot was a perfect WW. A bit on the skinny side, but people forget she’s a literal goddess, not a woman who needs to be uber buff to be strong. She has a bit of an accent, but it’s cute, and her acting is great.

I watched the live action version of this, my reaction was ‘this was certainly a thing alright’. Didn’t hate it, didn’t love it, wasn’t grossed out, it was slightly weird and that was it. Did the manga have any more substance or story or something else besides... nothing?

I thought Brando was the shitheel during that production and Kilmer was angry because of it. He basically did whatever he wanted, bucket on head, little guy following him for no reason, etc.
