I’ve heard 3 albums of his - even though some jokes repeat, most of it is different material. Don’t know how similar his live sets were.

I hadn’t watched any footage of the real Andy Kaufman until very recently, now I know he kinda played the role as 50% Kaufman and 50% Carrey being himself. I still believe he deserved at least an Oscar nomination for the role.

I didn’t hear it like that, I thought he decided not to continue due to issues on set or studio meddling on Hulk 2008. Apparently he wanted more creative control and had rewritten the script, not that I blame him. Great actor, he may want to do things his way if he thinks the artistic direction is good. Not sure what

I should have phrased this better. Hulk is an important character, but he’s been played by 3 actors now and none of us would bat an eye if they recast him in the future. Carrie Fisher played one of the major stars of arguably the most iconic film series in the world. There is no place for comparison.

They are nowhere near that important and besides, it’s Marvel movies, not Star Wars. Otherwise, agree, they should recast her so the character completes ther story.

Yeah, it got my attention because I saw EL mentioned 3-4 times in various threads in the last 2 weeks. Kinda unusual for a crap anime that’s more than a decade old.

I was afraid during the first few episodes that they’d fuck it up and make either the characters or story take place as a hallucination in his head or some other dumb twist for the sake of twisting. Glad the story has stakes and was not a case of ‘most of it didn’t happen’.

Are there no other great animes with telekinetic abilities, so Elfen Lied gets mentioned so often? I remember watching it years ago and thinking it’s hot garbage. Why mention it next to Akira instead of something else?

Now playing

First thing that comes to mind would be the Irish fans fixing a dent in a Ka:

Pardon me, as I’m not from the US and don’t know what all the latest used terms are in their most detailed descriptions. To me ‘on the spectrum’ is just as unclear as ‘autism’. What spectrum? Where on this spectrum is he, and what does it mean for his condition? Nothing is clear, and it just seems like a PC term

Yeah, it kinda is. Like describing how generally big a person is by how many inches his waist is instead of his height. Weird.

Diameter =/= length, at least that’s how understand the comment. Imagine a long cone coming out of the dragon’s head. The diameter of the cone base would be 30 ft - which would be the flame in its widest part, not the range of the flame itself. For all we know, it could reach things 300 ft away.

“...think about the impact Quicksilver’s death had”
Yep, precisely zero. I agree that Marvel is a well-oiled machine when it comes to actually mapping out a good plan and develop a movie properly. But not everything they do is perfect, and I’d like this to be noted. You don’t have to create additional examples in

I can see Ham done as an animated movie, as for the others... they can be animated movies too. It’s a shame studios have no faith in live-action alternate versions of their characters. A separate, Elseworlds-type cinematic universe from each big studio would bring us golden nuggets such as Gotham by Gaslight, SM Noir,

Brilliant.

Depends on the strain I guess, but I’ve had some gaming sessions where I’ve done better because of it.

That’s not the main thing you should take from the reviews. This may be as bad as it’s made out to be, but not because of the race controversy. It could just be badly written with a bad lead and poor fight choreography. Same way as Ghostbusters 2016 was bad - because of the poor writing and terrible jokes, not the

I did the same in NG+ and it was still a nightmare (haha).

You will get to the bosses sooner or later. Try to learn how to parry on smaller enemies who don’t deal that much damage. Shoot in the middle of their swing. You will get hit, but get used to the timing. It would be very useful against larger enemies or bosses. You can still complete the game without much parry skill,

Slow at turning, but lots of his attacks punish you even if you’re behind him - the swing range on that thing is ridiculous (not in a bad way though). He was about as hard as Ludwig at least for me - in top 5 bosses of soulsborne. You could not cheese him even if you stayed on his ass.
Maria though... shame that a
