it was a 97. Terrible. The foam bits in the arm rest disintegrated. The dash shattered itself for no reason, and the mount in the door for the window ripped itself apart so the window didn’t seal anymore. Even my freinds low miles 2001 WS6 feels fragile when you touch the interior.

As far as i can find, the TC weighed about 3400 Lbs and the Super Coupe 3800. The 250 lbs or so was the weight over what Ford told the Engineers to aim for, I could have said that more clearly lol. So they knew it was a heavy car. I’ve always wanted a TC, but this Sc kind of fell into my lap and i love it. Coming from

The SC was a mess because the Ford execs wanted IRS (Heavy) and its own platform, which means it came in over the Price per car they wanted and about 200 lbs too heavy. But the end result was fantastic. after 26 years my car is still quiet with few rattles and i doubt anything else from that time can really run away

On my Tbird, pressing the correct sixth button pops the trunk. Convenience! and judging by the number of times I’ve fished my keys out of my Firebird through its ill fitting window gap with a coat hanger i find the Ford keypad to be invaluable in a car whos windows do actually close when fully raised.

I know its probably not the norm, but we have a 07 Suburban XLT Leather XM radio Sunroof, DVD system, the works. and its been used as a farm truck. we’ve put plastic down and put deer in the back. same for bags of multch or top soil. but fold the seats back up and it hauls 7 adults in reasonable comfort and pulls a

The people I know who drive toyota trucks over the big three buy them religously, they dont shop around when they want a new truck they drive to the dealer get 80% back on their trade-in and buy a new one.

Time to call Ford/Cosworth.

A Veloster Turbo I saw had this. I'm not sure if its factory though

This Gen of Mark shared almost nothing with mustangs. It was the fn10 platform based on the mn12 thunderbirds. The mustang brakes and rims are a product of a hub swap. That said this one has been ruined and for 6gs you can get a super clean low miles stock one.

Big, Fast(relatively for its day) and comfortable. It eats up the highway miles. But flip the electronic Dampers to sport and inflate the bolsters in the seats and she has surprisingly good manners on a back road. Plus Supercharging gives the car lots of personality. If you are going to drive a big heavy "sports car"

Second American car to get IRS after the Corvette. They were heavy, but a little weight loss and a little more power and it would have been a real 5 Series beater in the 90s. I should know, i own one haha

He probably wouldn't miss it if you chopped it up and put his transfer case in the Bird haha!

I love my SC. its a good mix of cheap Ford parts, the coolness of a Supercharger, and the exclusivity of a low production vehicle. But if the new one could have a Thermostat housing that worked that would be great....

I heard a rumor that sccoa gave up and no one seems to know where it ended up. Too bad. All that torque would make it a DSM killer.

And maybe finish that awd project with Porsche.

yes!!! And a thunderbird to match! TTv6 or new cobra motor would be perfect.

Not a color, but i think two tone could use a comeback.

My first car was a 3.8L F-body. Rwd,decent handling, not too fast but enough to make you feel cool. And you'll never run out of stuff to fix since everything but the engine will break in a matter of months.

I drive an 89 5speed. Way more fun then a 4000 pound car should be. Straight lines or corners. And what's more muscle car then a family two door car with massive torque?

Massa in the pirate outfit still wins the Martini Williams costume competition.
