Haha, true - the H2 weighed a lumbering 6,500 lbs. It’s gonna take a hell of a big battery pack to get any decent range lugging that around.

Shit. Does this mean I’m going to have to stop hating Hummers because of their anti-environmental image?

I had three reactions to various cars on this list:

I am entirely on board for this Cats/Cars musical mashup.

A crossover is pretty much a car, though. There are no truck parts in it. It’s just a hatchback that sits a little higher.

Crossovers are closer to hatchbacks than minivans.

For a car that’s never going to be driven hard, handling really doesn’t matter that much no matter who you are. I once took my Leaf to an autocross just to see how it would do - acceleration was good, but it understeered a ton. Granted, it was on cheapo all-season tires, and would probably have done a lot better on

2nd gear: The AWD system is cool (although it looks very similar to what Tesla, Audi, Jaguar and Ford already have), but the name is idiotic.

I may be in a minority here, but I don’t think there’s anything wrong with continuing to go back to the original-trilogy formula. One of the reasons I liked TFA so much was because it’s basically a re-imagining of A New Hope with modern special effects and more emotional depth.

I’m totally with you. It wasn’t perfect, but it was enjoyable, and all the online hate gets really old really fast.

I’m in that same minority (which might not actually be a minority). Solo was, for me, passable but unremarkable. Honest Trailers described it pretty well as a filmed summary of Han Solo’s Wookiepedia page. The only thing that really stuck with me was how much I wished it were possible to go back in time and make it

The Rise of Skywalker was not perfect. It was rushed, it was disjointed and it had some plot and character issues. In particular, Leia’s death felt very rushed and out of left field - obviously written hurriedly into the script when Carrie died. The scenes with recycled Carrie footage held up OK, but reminded me a bit

Exactly. For all the people who have been “cancelled”, it seems to have made little to no difference, and they still show up everywhere.

Maybe the Pacifica.

I’m a little doubtful of Fisker, but the specs look good. It doesn’t seem to be doing anything particularly unique, but if they can build it, it should be decent.

I do love the 2005 Mustang. It was the first “retro-modern” car that actually got the formula right, and honestly, the only other one that works is the Challenger. All other attempts (like the PT and T-bird you mentioned) just felt like a late ‘90s car dressed up for Halloween as a 1940s or 50s car, and not very well.

Something something overnight parts from Japan.

That’s for the KITT scanner.

Honestly, I’m not sure it’s even worth YouTube. But if you do want to watch it, here it is:
