Excellent point. This especially applies with electric cars. That Fit may be cheap compared to a BMW, but it still costs between four and ten times as much as a Leaf to operate.

I hate to say it... but this guy needs a Prius.

Unless it’s the size of a house, I very much doubt that. Even the top-trim AWD Model 3 weighs less than 4,100 lbs. And since there’s been no mention of third-row seating in the Mach E, I’m guessing it’s not a large vehicle (probably smaller than the Model Y).

I’m really glad to see this. The show has had a few minor stumbles since the switch from Fox to NBC, but even at its worst, it’s still among the best comedies on TV these days.

It does sort of seem like the characters have become caricatures of themselves since NBC picked up the show. I hate to be one of those people that says the old version was better, but... the old version was better. It sort of feels like they’ve jumped the shark, and are now trying to recapture past glory instead of

I grew up with a ‘99 SW2. Still have it, although it doesn’t get driven much these days.

I think it’ll be like the EcoBoost. People will lose their shit for a while about how it’s blasphemy and sacrilege, and then they’ll drive it and it’ll be great and they’ll buy one and pretend they never said any of that stuff.

I, uhh... I really like them both.

I want to be mad about this but I can’t.

It looks like the offspring of a Mustang and a Model Y. Basically, if Tesla made a Mustang, this is what it would look like.

I actually kinda like the grille. It keeps the general shape of the Mustang face without the big gaping shark mouth that isn’t necessary with an EV. It kinda reminds me of the Aston Martin V8 Vantage from the ‘80s.

Those do look good, and based on the teaser images, I think the final product will look even better than that.

The GT500 weighs 4,200 lbs. I seriously doubt a smallish crossover will weigh more than that, even with a heavy battery pack. The Chevy Bolt has almost a thousand pounds of battery in it, and its total weight is under 3,600 lbs.

“EV buyers don’t give a shit about Mustangs. Mustang aficionados will be pissed”

The camo photos don’t do it justice. Camo photos of cars are always taken with a really long lens from far away, which tends to make cars look weirdly proportioned because we’re used to seeing them from a much closer perspective that makes the front look bigger.

This is an A+ level joke, but I’m really glad it’s not actually happening. Doesn’t Wahlberg own a Chevy dealership? And isn’t he also a rampaging racist?

Oh... oh no...

Please let this be COTD.

I see where you’re coming from, but the current Mustang is a far cry from what it was back in the ‘60s. The proportions, seating layout and engine options are similar, but besides that it’s a completely different car.

Hmm... I guess I’m okay with this. The camo photos undersell it a bit, but I really liked what I saw in the teaser images.
