“My speedometer pulls out, but I don’t”

I’m not a Porsche owner. Yet. But the market keeps slipping away from me. However, I really want to get to Rennsport Reunion. That sounds like one for the ages.

respectfully? RESPECTFULLY? This is the internet, you can’t respectfully disagree. You have to lose your shit and threaten to poison my dog and blame me for the rise of Hitler and George Wallace. Skinny 911s rock, but wide Countachs are where it’s at, sir.

*Salesmen. Salesmen know as much as your grandmother. They’re all idiots and they all need to burn in hell.

this is gawker. Anyone making over $40k should feel like an entitled asshole.

So when did $8000 a month become lavish?

Seriously. $8k/month is hardly “posh” money.

Nor S. California. I was going to say, I look at the gross earnings of my wife and I, and then what’s left after a mortgage, child care, food, etc., and it’s sad.

Clearly he’s not living in Connecticut....

It would be fine if it was just limited to sales people. Many in parts and even some in service departments are basically voice input/output devices for their computers. Try calling about any part/problem that requires 0.04353% input/logical thought on their part. There are still exceptions, but fewer every day.

I’ve only had one salesmen in recent years actually know about cars in general, let alone what they sell. He just happened to drive a modified Mazdaspeed3. Its so crazy to me that someone who who makes a living selling cars know nothing about the one brand they sell! My favorite was an older salesmen that insisted

COTD.

Salespeople generally don’t know shit about their products. They don’t care, they’re not invested like techs who are obviously more likely to be enthusiasts.

Dude, I don’t know anything as far as, all-wheel drive. Like, what are our F-150s?

Thanks! It’s a ‘67S. Been in the family for 40 years. Dad and I race it in vintage club races. Made the event flyer this year (with dad driving...)

Uh-huh.

Anybody who "lectures" a waiter, about anything at all, is a tool. Give your order and shut up.

My old Pathfinder works the way that he’s insisting his Tacoma works. It has fogs that only work when the low beams are on. Flip the highbeams and the fogs go out.

Subarus love understeer. Even the BRZ is all about it.

I love how people think 50/50 awd cars means the car will handle neutrally. not even close to true and most are in for a world of understeer
