drop in the AWD 4motion system, keep it under $35K well equipped, and you’ve got yourself a middle-management sedan winner...

If they can keep the price way low, it will sell.

Same problem.... not wagony enough... same issue as the Porsche panamera

I agree that the Safari-look is “bad-ass”, but even a 1 inch lift can ruin how a car handles. It’s not just roll, it’s also yaw/pitch under hard breaking.

By the numbers, the 2019 Forester is NOT progress.

Neutral: Much of the overall safety ratings are now determined by crash avoidance technology (auto-braking, lane-keep, etc.). While that stuffs important... I look more for structural rigidity, and airbag count/placement.

Integra without a key = stolen

roller with a LSD... perhaps a good candidate for a CSB engine swap...

shut the front door... 5spd v8 mustang roadster...

How about a Triumph Stag?! .......Too soon?

So yes, I agree with all of that... and maybe the Q7 was the wrong choice for comparison... consider the Mercedes GLE 63S for $110K (less than half the price of the Urus)... 0-60 happens in a quicker 4.1 seconds, and still plush AF on the inside. Good points, Z31slickback. It’s hard to talk about cars without talking about the economy. Car culture was more accessible when the gap between average wages and new car prices was smaller. On top of that, States and local governments tack-on annual registration fees, city stickers, and extra fuel taxes. Then

came here to post this - you beat me to it. That said, if Jeep ever put this into production they’d market it for $50K+. So, it’s kind of irrelevant for most folks.

Yeah... still too expensive. I get the Jag is a tad faster than the Volvo v60, but for all intents and purposes, Volvo is doing a much better job at the starting price of a v60 for the same consumer base (and going after Outback & Allroad market more successfully, IMO)

Hooray! That’s the rags to riches plan!
