Lemons race car, at best (if price comes down). And even that’s a stretch because if the interior is that moist, the subframe/drivetrain/engine are probably rusty AF.

A cheap Unimog (AKA Jeep FC-170). It’s quirky/unique/special and rare. Will appreciate in value IMO.

Tastefully modified C10... fun... fast... and will appreciate in value IMO

Post War Power-Wagon... will continue to appreciate in value IMO

Bronco... will continue to appreciate in value IMO.

A Chevy SS - Why? Because it’s one of the last naturally aspirated V8 American(ish) sedans. You’ll have fun now, and your kids will have something special. In the future, all their friends will be driving silent EVs that feel like coffins - your kids will have something that makes them feel alive. Manual trans

Even before I got to the “what’s weak” section, in my head I was thinking... Really! 50 large?! Thanks for the validation, David Tracy.

The Impala likely suffers more for not being an SUV, but the tariffs can’t be helping. At the very least there’s an increase of costs related to global logistics and supplies because of tariffs. Overall, tariff “wars” are hard to win, and the costs ALWAYS gets passed on to the lowest common denominator - employees, con

I’d welcome such change... and I’d welcome changes to legislation that limit the power of any president (current or future) to screw us in a such a massively stupid and petty way.

Let’s also remember the 1986 Jeep Comanche - “the base price of the two-wheel drive model was $7,049 (adjusted only for inflation equal to US$16,039 in 2017 dollars[9]).” -Wiki

Visibility in most new cars is lacking... at some point, they’ll just put an wide angle LCD screen instead of any windows. Lack of outward visibility should really be unacceptable in non-fully-autonomous vehicles (which we really don’t have yet).

Every single GM employee should voting for the most level-headed candidates in the next election cycle; be they democrats or republicans. The layoffs have everything to do with the GOP tariffs and what usually happens after a big Republican tax cut - trickle down is no match for greed.

$27K+ for a fully loaded Corolla?! HAA! And the hatch-backy-ness portion is tiny?!

Rush-hour on the DC beltway in a PT Cruiser with no AC or radio in mid-August. Dreams CAN come true!

Came here to say this ^. I’ll say though that the new 3 series suspension is not forgiving or comfort oriented.

I’d rather have a 300 HP Electric AWD Golf... for the price of a base GTI. Take that, Elon!

If Mr. Evan wants to fit in with the construction crew, but still stand out, a used Ford Raptor is the way to go.

Without the SH-AWD system - given the onslaught of CUV craze - the ILX won’t sell well in the colder 2/3 of the US market. Even in the dryer/warmer States, the lack of AWD marginalizes the premium-ness of the car.

Yes, yes, yes...  this is so Jalop!

I totally agree with the IS300... your ct200h comment though has me scratching my head... The ct200h was an expensive hybrid corolla, and handled even worse than a corolla. Stick with the IS300... the wagons didn’t come with a manual in the US, but if we’re already dreaming... ha.
