Event is sponsored monthly by the Bone and Joint Orthopedics Institute. Business is good. Very good.

New cars have also in large part lost their emotive spirit. It’s all about MEAN or LEAN. There’s very little room for ‘happiness’ and ‘joy’. Perhaps a sign of our times.

Expensive heap of CVT garbage. At best, I’d recommend leasing this thing.

I’d imagine that heat displacement is also a challenge with these types of high mpg efficiency wheels. Considering how heavy EVs are, cooling the brakes quickly is important.

Most seem to just be looking at the damn phones!

The Mazda 6, Accord, and Camry all need to get on the AWD bandwagon to push sales. Also, with some of these coming close to 300 hp or 300 lb ft of torque, AWD would provide a much better off-the-line experience.

The Lincoln Continental is way too expensive to be successful. AWD versions start at just under $50K and has horrible MPG. The Volvo S90 is a better choice (based on sticker price) for a comparably comfort oriented sedan. I think the Continental is geared more towards Asian markets.

Look - I really want to like these, but they look HUGE. Exterior dimensions and weight just prevent this from being the kind of “driver’s car” it aims to be. It’s also really fucking expensive... value blah blah blah... don’t care.

More Meh was The Liberty’s somehow more pointless Dodge Nitro clone, which seemed to make outward visibility and off-road capability worse. The plastic factory called; they want all their cladding back.

Cuz there’s a little Marlboro man in all of us...

the LLV is partially based off the old S10 so this does make some sense... perhaps they could be turned into (somehow) worse handling GMC syclones.

So bad, it’s good?! There is such a thing.

Have a star for the dark truth... well done.

Horsepower rating, “adequate”.

Looks like I’ll be waiting for the S40 in 2020-ish... maybe... The new 2019 S60 got fat.

Restoring ocean reefs? Like they did in Grand Tour...

Also, can we talk about how all those old Grumman LLV postal vans could be re-purposed in the public sector....

Even still (and presumably empty), body roll seems noticeable. Yikes.

As a taxpayer, I just want them to make an economical choice - I couldn’t care less what it looks like.

If you can buy a used willy and drive it on the street, it blows my mind (i.e. pisses me off) that we can’t import this and drive everywhere.
