Buy a new 2017 4-Door Wrangler, hard-top.

Optioned out, the BMW will be a better value (and offer a better dealership experience)

In Chicago, if you fail to pay a parking meter you’ll get a $65 fine; they don’t care who you are or how much you make - everyone is treated equally. THAT’S AMERICA. If you don’t pay the fine on time, there will be a late charge. An occasional/accidental parking ticket is an assumed factor in the cost of owning and

Absolute bare minimum in my opinion-

So your telling me... ~20 years ago the Civic had AWD and yet the 2017 Civic Type R insists on ruthlessly punishing it’s front wheels only... WTH?!

Improved city RAIL (preferably subway) transit eases congestion by getting cars off the road. Buses should be smaller, run more frequently, and aim to serve “the last mile”, not swaths of long distance due to poor rail planning/remediation.

Golden age of motoring was in the mid-90's. Cars were simple enough to still work on and modify, but advanced enough that they were reasonably safe and reasonably efficient.

How about a v8 in that mix - Caprice PPV

It drives me mad that most manufacturers keep making wider cars, yet our road and parking lot infrastructures are not accommodating. Yes, wider is safer, but it makes navigating the urban jungle a real

Holding out for an S40 R-design that actually adds power and not just body cladding (weight) and badges...

A VW Alltrack R (or even GTI with 4motion) would be insanely desirable to any jalopnik here

Volvo and Polestar does this. You can get a polestar chip in any vehicle that offered a Polestar model.

You sir, get a star for your dark and poor taste humor. Have it.

Is that V60 wagon on the longer S60 chassis? Looks super stretched in that profile picture.

I prefer the gas tax and tolls to the government counting my miles and movements throughout the day, every day. Yes, the government could otherwise still track me if they wanted, but they’d need a warrant.

I’ve always liked these, but I’d have to have a turbo installed for this to be viable on a daily basis.
