I don’t really think they have to spur personal growth to be a GAME of the decade... I get what the article is going for but I’m perfectly happy saying my game of the decade was probably Persona 5 and while it affected me emotionally, deeply so, it wasn’t some life-changing event. How in the world is this worse than pokemon? Pokemon gave TINY differences between its versions, and the stories are crap. Each of these games have 22 UNIQUE chapters that completely change the way you play. Go bitch about games that don’t offer amazing value for the price. At least these games justify it.
