For myself there wasn't anything on the PS3 that made me go 'I have to get this system'. Admittedly I'm very particular/picky when it comes to games, and there was no Valkyrie Profile 3 or similar must-get games. FFXIII's synopses and reviews sank it for me.

I started on Borderlands 2 off a summer sale a year ago, now playing through 1 for the fun/context. I'm already wanting more, no where near burnt out. Its all extremely enjoyable and the more I see of this, the more I'm excited for it. And more platforming seems like a decent way to go, and should be a welcome…
It was mostly a joke for the knee-jerk impulse impression, yeah :P As bare-bones as it all seems I have a feeling it's more tech demo than anything else. The 'for purchase'-ness is certainly unconventional.
